Frequently asked questions
What equipment do I need?
A computer or tablet with a recent browser and an internet connection. For receipts, an 80 mm thermal printer (for example an Epson TM-T20III); a label printer is optional.
Can I use it on several tills?
Yes. Each staff member signs in with their PIN, on as many devices as you need: counter, workshop, driver.
How much does Lavandra cost?
You start with a free trial, no bank card needed. Subscription terms are shown in your account and we answer any questions by email.
Is my data safe?
Your customers’ personal data is encrypted, each shop is kept separate and access is logged. You can export or erase a customer’s data on request.
Can I work in Arabic or English?
Yes. Each staff member picks their screen language, and the shop picks the language of receipts and customer messages.
Which currencies and countries?
The euro and the currencies of the Middle East and Africa: Tunisian, Algerian, Libyan, Jordanian, Kuwaiti or Bahraini dinar, Moroccan or UAE dirham, Egyptian pound, CFA franc (BCEAO and BEAC), riyal, naira, shilling, rand… Each shop has its own currency, time zone and VAT.
Can customers book a pickup online?
Yes. Turn on home pickup: customers choose their slots on your page, you confirm, and the driver follows the round on a phone. The customer gets the final price after inspection at the workshop.
What if the internet goes down?
Lavandra needs a connection to save transactions. Tethering from a phone is enough to keep working.
